Open an Indices Trading Account

Indices are a group of assets, often based on the top performing stocks on a national, regional or global level, or focusing on a specific business sector. The value of an index is based on the current prices of all the assets within it, meaning individual stock price changes can see an index rise or fall in value.

With an indices trading account at ADSS you can speculate and trade on the overall performance of the specific equity market that index represents. There is a choice of national, regional and global indices available to trade on.

Major stock indices across the world include:

  • NASDAQ
  • S&P 500
  • FTSE 100
  • Dow Jones Global Titans 50
  • DAX 30
  • Hang Seng
  • Nikkei 225

Rather than focusing on individual equities, trading on indices provides a more general overview of a market. Open an ADSS account and start trading CFDs on indices.

Trade CFD on Indices

Indices can be traded via a CFD at ADSS. This allows traders to go long or short, with the aim to make a profit whether you think an index will rise or fall in value. This could be based on economic, political or other factors that may inform your decision of which way to trade.

With an ADSS account you have access to trade CFDs on major indices markets around the world. Generally, your exposure per point of movement on your chosen index will be the currency of the index (for example in GBP for the FTSE 100, JPY for the Nikkei 225).
