Depositing Funds into your Securities Trading Account

There are three ways to deposit funds:

Important Notice:

  • After funding, please write your full name and account number on the receipt of the deposit. The deposit receipt should be sent to us by fax or email

  • Funds will be processed between 9am to 2pm, Monday to Friday Hong Kong Time (excluding Hong Kong public holidays).
  • Once we have received your funds and deposit receipt before 2pm Hong Kong Time, the deposit will be processed and updated to your Securities trading account balance within the same day.
  • Any fund and deposit receipt received after 2pm Hong Kong Time will be processed on the following working day.
  • There is no charge for transfers from the same bank. For inter-bank transfers, your bank may charge bank fees.
  • ADSS Hong Kong does not accept third party transfers or funds for any Securities trading account. We only accept funds originating from the bank account held in the client’s name.
  • ADSS Hong Kong does not accept cash deposits. Please make deposit transfer to an ADSS Hong Kong bank account from your personal bank account.
  • ADSS Hong Kong cannot guarantee the receiving, processing and returning of cash deposits or third-party deposit.
  • Any internal transfer request between OREX and TREX trading platforms will be processed within two working days if ADSS Hong Kong has received the internal transfer request form and required information before 2pm Hong Kong Time. Any transfer request that received by ADSS Hong Kong after 2pm Hong Kong time will be treated as a request for the following working day.

The client should designate a currency (either HKD or USD) at account opening. For any deposit or withdrawal made to a client’s account which is different from the account denominated currency, the amount will be exchanged into USD OR HKD according to the floating exchange rate (USD/HKD) shown in the trading platform at the time we receive the fund or the withdrawal instruction. Any subsequent deposit or withdrawal will only be entertained by ADSS Hong Kong in accordance with client’s deposit currency.

Withdrawing Funds from your Securities Account

If you want to withdraw funds from your Securities trading account, you need to complete and submit the ‘Fund Withdrawal’ form that you can access via the link below.

Please remember that you need to sign and complete the following in the ‘Fund Withdrawal’ form:

  1. Accountholder’s Name
  2. Account Number
  3. Withdrawal Amount
  4. Bank Account Details

Please complete and submit the ‘Fund Withdrawal’ form and provide proof of your bank account (for the first time or for new bank account holders only) by post, e-mail or fax.
