Default home screen view after logging in
The ADSS platform navigation includes:
Your in-app experience keeps the navigation pinned to the bottom of the screen.
Selecting any of the options from the navigation fills your phone’s screen.
On the web experience, the navigation panel appears to the left of the main window, showing the platform’s menu and the different areas you can click to easily open / close from view.
The menu can be collapsed by clicking the Hide menu button located in the bottom left of the screen on web.
Products, Insights, and Watchlist will always open in the panel next to the main window.
Positions, Orders, and History default open in the blotter along the bottom of your web browser screen, enabling you to keep a focus on exploring new opportunities in the main window. These can be expanded and collapsed in and out of full screen view.
This section shows all tradable products.
In the Product search pane:
Recently Viewed allows you to select the most recently viewed or traded products. Swipe across this to see more recently viewed products.
Selecting a product will populate the chart and product information in the main window, and in the web experience also auto-populate the Order Ticket in the right-hand panel.
The Themes section contains dynamic and curated watchlists, grouping together collections of popular products.
Top Gainers (top performing instruments of the day) and Top Losers (worst performing instruments of the day) update automatically.
The remaining themed watchlists are curated by the ADSS team, allowing you to track and discover different instruments in a variety of categories.
The watchlist feature enables you to keep a track of your favourite products.
In the app experience, either swipe to view additional pages on your watchlist, or select ‘See All’ to view all products in a single view.
On desktop, simply scroll down to see your full watchlist.
There are two easy methods to add products to your watchlist.
If your Watchlist is already open, select the plus + icon at the top of the screen. Use the product search toolbar or asset class filters to find your favourite products. Then just select the plus next to any product to add straight to your Watchlist.
Alternatively, after selecting a product to bring it into focus, click the star icon at the top of this page.
To edit or remove products in your Watchlist, tap on the 3 dots at the top of the Watchlist page. This will bring the Watchlist into an editing mode.
Tap the x next to any instrument to remove it from your Watchlist, and when finished select ‘Done’ at the top of the page.
The insights feature allows users to gain a deeper understanding of what’s happening in the markets, helping you make data-driven decisions.
In the app experience, you can go directly to Insights from the bottom navigation. Clicking on a news item will open a detailed news article with associated tradeable instruments tagged for quick access.
On a web browser, clicking Insights on the left-hand panel brings up general and product-related news, based on the product currently populating your order ticket.
Positions shows your live trades, grouped together by product.
All information related to your positions is shown in real time:
You can add, edit, or remove stop loss and take profit orders directly from your Open Positions list.
In the app, we’ve made it easy to take quick, related actions when viewing your positions.
By selecting the three vertical dots – at either the individual positional level, or whole trade level – an options screen will slide up.
