United Foods Company (UFC) – Introduction and background |
![]() |
United Foods Company (UFC) is one of the UAE’s oldest food manufacturers, producing and marketing edible oils, fats, ghee, margarine and a broad range of processed consumer food products across the GCC and international markets.
Founded in Dubai in 1976, UFC built its reputation over five decades through a portfolio of own-brand labels, with some of the best-known examples Aseel, Nawar and SuperSun. Expanding beyond basic foodstuff manufacturing, the company is also involved in distribution of global brands, and imports household names such as Oreo, Cadbury, and KitKat to GCC consumers alongside its own-brand processed products.
UFC has been listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) under the ticker symbol UFC since its 2006 IPO. The stock trades as a mid-cap UAE consumer staples play, with performance closely tied to regional food demand and commodity input costs.
