Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company , better known as du, is one of two licensed telecommunications operators in the UAE.
Du provides mobile, fixed-line, broadband, and pay-TV services to millions of residential and business customers across the country. Established in 2005, du began commercial operations in 2007, breaking the previous monopoly held by Etisalat (now e&). Majority-owned by Emirates Investment Authority through its parent EITC, the company boasts a large network and has invested heavily in 5G infrastructure, cloud services and enterprise solutions.
The company has been listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) since 2007. The stock’s performance is closely tied to UAE consumer spending trends and the country’s ongoing digital transformation agenda.
