Oracle’s primary product line includes Oracle Database, an industry-leading relational database management system, which forms the core of many enterprise applications. Additionally, Oracle offers a wide array of software applications and cloud services, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), human capital management (HCM), supply chain management (SCM), and more. In recent years, Oracle has focused on developing its presence in the cloud computing market.

Oracle’s IPO took place in 1986 and the stock has traded ever since on the NYSE. Like many tech stocks, Oracle saw a significant sell-off in the aftermath of the dot-com crisis, but the stock has generally experienced rapid and sustained growth since its launch. Investing in CFDs involves a high degree of risk that you will lose your money due to the use of leverage, particularly in fast moving markets, where a relatively small movement in the price can lead to a proportionately larger movement in the value of your investment. This can result in loses that exceed the funds in your account. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and you should seek independent advice if necessary.
